Why spray tan go patchy?

Hi Everybody.
Reacently i'm useing Urban Tan to spray my customers. I noticed that people with darker skin dont have any problems but people with pale skin go patchy when tan comes off. Why is this. Maybe i have to use on them the lightest shade? Is all the tans ae the same.? I lost my confidence in product as not all people are happy.Please help.

Yes, you need to use the lighter shade on people with pale skin as it wont fade off nicely due to the differece of skin colour compared to the tan.
If there are clients with pale skin wanting the darker one then you should explain this to them first.

Who did you do your training with for spray tanning,
clients have lots of different skin types and you need to know how to determine which type each client has and then know which % is suitable for their skin type
