Hi I was just wondering if this happens to any other geeks.
I wear nail extensions and have been doing since I started (12yrs).
These days tho, the middle finger on my filing hand looks very deformed and wonky. If I knew how to post a pic via iPhone I would show you.

Yay I posted a pic go me lol

Get you posting pictures and everyfink!!

I don't have a wonky nail, but I do have a lumpy knuckle :irked:

On the same finger you've posted a picture of, on the first knuckle down from the nail I have a lump out the side which is where my abrasive sits

I asked my osteopath about it, he says it's the body creating protection for a constant pressure and when I stop working it will simply disappear of its own accord. I tried telling Husband I had to give up work and be a kept woman because of my industrial injury, sadly, he wasn't having any of it

Lots of people have a wonky finger... I have one too from my School Days where the pen presses against my finger when I write (must have been all those lines I got back in the day)

No hope for my poor finger now, as it's now my filing finger.. my nail is OK though.. just the finger that's wonky!
