I have found that, on my own nails, particularly if I am wearing them quite long (sculpted), after about 10 days the shape is all over the place and I need to file them back in to shape.

I have noticed this on a couple of clients and they notice it too. Is it just that the nails grow like this or do you think I am doing something wrong in the original work ?

Usually my thumb and forefinger on my left hand go wonky, took me a while to realise that I'm gradually filing a wee bit of my own when I'm holding and filing my clients nails. Never had it happen apart from that though so can't help further x

The only time I've come across this was on a friend who was one of my original models. One of her nails grew really wonky and it turned out she'd squashed it in a car door as a kid. You could only tell when it had grown out.
