Words cant explain how i feel

This may seem long winded but i gotta tell everyone how happy I am now , after four weeks of total torture.
Here goes my partner found a lump in his testicle four weeks ago. He went to the drs who referred him to a urologist. One week later we went to see the urologist who told us it was more than likely a cyst but would need an ultrasound done. The following week he went for the scan to be told it was not a cyst. Oh my god our world just fell apart. Anyway we found strength from somewhere and thought on the postitive side (maybe an infection) and one week later (last wednesday) off to see the specialist who told us the scan suggest the dreaded word and booked him in today for a orchiectomy. Anyway today he has had the op and they are sure it is benign but wont find out for sure until next week. So as you can see very happy people or will be tomorrow when he comes home.
Sorry to go on but my head has been all over the place these last few weeks ands feel i need to shout from the rooftops how relieved we are.

Oh Donna,
I know what your going through. I am sure he will be fine, you noticed something early , he's in good hands and doctors are "on the ball" these days. (excuse the punt, just cant think of another way of putting it)

I am nursing my best friend through the "dreaded word" at the moment. Unfortunately she had it for 3 years without even knowing. It really is amazing what docs can do now days. She is recovering now but, It really does pay off to check ourselves regularly.(something we're all guilty of!)
