omg, most of you all read my thread about the psycho manager that was bullying me? well all that was supposed to stop and guess what?! it didn't.
This past week i've been extremely sick and they just seem to be getting madder about my missing a day. I only called in to them once and even went to work with a 102 fever. My hubby tried texting the manager about my fever and she went ballistic on him telling him to stay out of shop business etc...
I'm so over this place but i feel the need to stay because the owner put a couple thousand into renovations and product just to accommodate me.

Just because she put in the money does that mean I have to stay? I mean she can always hire another tech but they are very hard to find and the clients love me.
I also feel guilty about leaving the clients because we've struck up many friendships and i hear "i hope you never leave" and "i'm so glad there is a nail tech here" nearly everyday.

I am not completely happy at the nss shop but i know i don't get griped at and i pretty much do what i want; as long as i show up for work, they are happy. If i need an off day or vacation all i have to do is tell her in advance. Plus i only have to work 4 days a week to earn good money.
At the Hair salon where I am having problems, she wants me to work 6 days a week from 9-6. That means zero time for family and zero time for school.

there are so many pro's and cons to each place but i swear the thought of having to go in monday and hear the manager running her loud opinionated mouth makes me want to gouge my eyes out with spoons.

What would you all do? i'm at my wits end...

I think you have answered your own question my love. Its clear you are not happy , and you wish to work in a more friendly , relaxed environment.

only YOU know what to do. what is your heart telling you?

I totally agree with the post from Tigi above.

Re-read your original post as if it was written by someone else. What advice would you give that person?

Very best of luck, but you know what needs to be done honey.

Gosh that sounds awful!
I would get a new job if I was dreading going in on Monday - whent he going gets tough, the tough gets going! Good luck on what you decide, you really don't need that stress hun

My husband just went through this exact same thing (he's a mechanic, but still, stress at work is stress at work!)

Ask yourself this; What favours are you doing yourself, your family and your clients by continuing working for an inflexible monster? You already know that you are good enough to be employed elsewhere and if worse comes to worst, couldn't you continue to see clients as a mobile technician? You know you can deliver the goods!
