Today, I was at a clients and she wanted to sit outside(under the parousel and so was I) however, I did notice that the gel was playing me up abit....I wasnt in direct sunlight, so it must be the heat...I loved the fact their were no smudging and top coat dryed really quick with the wind:). SO my question guys and girls is...have you noticed a difference in the way you have to apply/use your products?

To be honoust i would never do this outdoors first of all because there are small things flying in the air *dust, bugs, etc...* that could get stuck in the product. Unless you want to have them as encased nail art  If it is warm weather it will indeed change the consistency of your gel, just like it gets firmer when it is colder. Not to speak of the constant fobia of no sunlight touching any of your gel products since they could cure in the jar  could be an expensive treatment in the open

That was exactly my thoughts, we didnt get any nail art..lol what I was getting at though.the heat weather you are indoors or outdoors does take its toll on the products and I know I have to be extra careful

Gel outside....your brave! I do nails from home in pretty much a sun room and when I do gels I go into "lock down" and shut the drapes around me.....I tried with them open once(cloudy day) and I noticed my gel gum up a bit and that was the end of that!

The thing is about UV gels is the UV....it's there on a cloudy day as well as sunny, so I wouldn't risk it, gels too expensive to risk it I think......also...what if a mosquito or other small bug flies onto the nail while it cures.....after all bugs are attracted to the "blue light". Those super industrial bug zapper machines give off the purple/blue light.....
