With the World Cup just around the corner- is anyone thinking of doing anything special either inside your salon- or with your marketing?

Finding an angle or a theme to base your marketing on (even if its just an excuse to contact your existing clients) is alway a good thing- and this one only comes around once every four years!

Without stereotyping TOO much I can see that "World Cup Widow" offers could go down well! Or advertising World Cup Free Zones.

....OR you could embrace the competion and have some fun with it! I know we plan to do that in our salon.

Although the latter might not go down too well in Scotland....sorry!

Funnily enough Carl, I've just got back from a staff meeting & that is one of the things we were discussing. I like the "World Cup Widow" name - may have to pinch that, lol We've come up with a couple of ideas, just need to think about how to implement them

We did this for the last world cup and our offers were too called 'World Cup widows' we got the dates and times of all the matches and ran special promtions during that morning or afternoon, we did discounts on treatments, put together packages and offered a free glass of bubbly or 'cream teas' with the treatments, it was a storming success

I really love these ideas but I also love the football as well so want to be watching the games myself rather than working, oh dear what to do!!

A lot of the games are later in the evening so perhaps I can offer some early slots but love the 'World Cup Widow' theme.
