I have a tiny question for you wrap geeks.

As I can understand the different types of wrap systems is kind of the same thing (meaning that they are produced and then branded with different names)
Am I correct when I assume you would then be able to use say millenium builder resin with backscrathers system, as I find building an apex with the resin is quite hard? Or should I sick to the never mix systems as with gel and l&p...

Reason why I ask is I cannot find any other system in this country with a builder resin, and ordering everything abroad could be quite an expensive affair.

I have tried a search, but couldn't find any....

Backscrathers is a fab system...i think they were one of the originals to produce wraps, but i may be wrong.

However i do not think they have a builder resin.

I would steer away from mixing brands...but then again maybe you can...i know i am not much help...but to be on the safe side some products may well not match with each other.

I know that OPI has a builder resin,i tried it and it worked well....however i had issues with OPI customer support, but thaqt is another story...However Pure who is a geek on here absolutely loves it!:)

There are a couple of other geeks who love wraps with a passion,Nailsinlondon, and Valencian nails are the girls to ask...i for one would love to find a system that includes a builder resin that i am happy with.

The look of fibre is fandabydoozy,it is great for overlays and tips aswell...but one downside is it is not great for people who put thier hands in and out of water, unless they use solar oil like the bible:green:

It is just a shame Fabric was discontinued from CND,they had a builder resin....and i feel that is something a bit "void" from CND:|

I haven't used it for a while, but I think ezflow offers a builder resin and, from what I remember, it did actually 'Build.' The only other brand I've tried is NSI <for a college course>, but I didn't have much luck building with their resin at all.

I do like the look of fibreglass sets and they're fantastic for nail repairs, but I wasn't so impressed with the durability, tbh. I guess I'm an l&p kinda girl at heart! :)

Hi! I am here in the USA and I love OPI Microwrap System, and they do have a builder resin- the only thing that I have not liked is the shelf-life of the builder resin- has anyone else had this problem? I wonder if it was the supplier, as maybe they do not sell much of it and it was already old? I have had this happen twice, so I am not sure... other than that I love it- I find it very easy to work with and they look great, I wish more of my clients liked wraps cuz I really enjoy them!! hth.... Does creative offer a wrap system? I don't think they do but just wondering? thanks....

I like backscratchers aswell.
I was just trying to find out if mixing was possible, as many of the companies mentioned don't have distributors in my contry, or don't have the wraps as a part of the normal stock.
I'll try to contact ez-flow, I know they have theirs in stock, just didn't recall seing a builder resin but will try mailing them.

Oh and no unfortunately CND doesn't offer a wrap system....maybe some day again (if Fabric was CND) they couldn't have thrown out the reciepies:lol:
