hello, as my title suggests im after a little help from young nails users!
I am doing a friends nails in a week who wants pink and whites. i have done her nails before, she is a biter but she had some free edge and wasnt biting too much. This time she says she has been biting a lot and they are much shorter than last time. At the moment i only have young nails core pink and white, and some technail nsi colours. I am after some advice as to how to create the best looking enhancement for her. I prefer sculpting as this is what my training focussed on so wondered if i could do this and extend the nail bed. If so, what young nails powder do i need to do this? on the website i only see a frosted pink which is just semi opaque. I have had a search on here but cant quite find what im looking for. Also would the reverse app be best? i've been wanting to learn more about custome blending and this is my perfect excuse!!
sorry for the long winded post but have lots of questions and ideas going round my head!
thanks for reading xx

Hi Mary

The best thing to do is sculpt honey the best mix of powders I like to use are the frosted pink mixed with either Sissy salmon or blushing girl which and be custom blended to create the cover pink you are looking for.

Hope this helps

I mix frosted pink, french pink, with sissy salmon, blushing girl and a touch of metallic red creates a beautiful colour. I do all my nails using this.
Im only in daisy hill, westhoughton if you want to pop down.

Hi Lisa, i have just collected them from the post office this afternoon! :green:
I think it will be my very patient boyfriend who gets the first go later on tonight if i can get him to sit still! think i will have a go at the reverse application on him too!
Im going to find out just how short my friends nails actually are as im unsure whether to tip or sculpt on her, i think id prefer to sculpt but know that a tip will give them all a uniform shape to begin with. Guess its one of those things that comes down to experience. IM glad im going to give it a go though
Thanks again for all your help the other day!

I use frosted pink and metallic red for all my clients and it gives a complete coverage (1 part red to 10 parts frosted pink). I find the sissy salmon looks too apricot but there again it depends on the skin tone of your client.
