your views on this home learn course

Hlello!
Ive been looking through the internet for a home learn course and i have found this one,just wondered if anyone has done it or know anything about it...i know its not the best way forward but i work and have 2 children so a home learn course for now is the best thing for me

If home learn is your option hun then have a look at essential nails ( Nail Technician Courses, Acrylic Course, Gel Course, Nail Art Course, Airbrush Course | Essential Nails ) Their courses are good and make a fantastic starting point in your education.

( I am currently doing acrylic tip and overlay, maintenance and nail art with them )

Well the website started off well by saying that this is the first step but then, in my opinion, it all goes wrong. With absolutely no practical teaching at all and only advice to practice on family and friends there is a huge amount of encouragement to set up as a mobile technician! This really is not acceptable. At least some companies provide a plastic hand to learn basic techniques.

You seem to have done your research and understand that home learning is just a beginning. You will need to eventually go on to more training for the practical skills. I'm sure this course is very thorough on the theory but is a long way from being 'job ready'.
