I dnt find any damage with my clients in the 5 yrs ive done nails... never had any over filing as i prep my nail.properly using a light touch when using my 180 file as ur only slightly scratching (etching) the top surface layer which is the same as using a buffer as it smooths down top layer...

I use a 180 grit file with all my extension work and never had a problem... think a sand turtle in my opinion is a buffer for smothing. When doing acrylic / gel u need to roughen up the nail in order for the product to have something to grip onto. Xx hth x Sent from my GT-I9505 using SalonGeek...

I agree with pure.... the tips dont look the right size i always tend to go a size bigger and file it slightly smaller if i need to to.make sure it fits flush with side wall esp in nail bitters or small nails... and when applying the acrylic make sure u remember n pinch ur clients finger to take...

I used shellac/gelish on top of fiber / silk wraps all the time and had no issues as its still flexable n gives a little more strength ive also found they last a little longer aswel... Hth x Sent from my GT-I9505 using SalonGeek mobile app

Where can i find this colour of acrylic???. Ive tried mixing powders and also pigments trying to get it but still no luck.. is there a premixed acrylic this shade of bright baby pink on the market? Ive already got the young nails and nsi products but the concealer colours jus not the same...
