Hi

I have just done my 1st set of tips using calgels own tips on my friends nails, I know where i went wrong etc but the problem i had is that when i was using the black gel on the nail and tip it was a lighter colour on her nn but darker on the tip.

I noticed that there is quite a bit of a difference between the colour of the tip and my friends natural nail could this cause the difference in colour of the gel being applied.

If anyone could give me some tips (pardon the pun) on what tips they using of if using something else different and if the fault of the gel being a different colour is a fault of mine.

Thanks

The calgel black is a very wishy washy colour i dont know why they dont add more pigment all the other colours seem fine.I always paint over it with a black varnish, just one coat and then top coat.It will stay on for ages and does not chip i guess because calgel is an almost rubbery surface.
A really quick way of doing someones nails for strength is just 2 coats of clear as it cures in 30 secs and then one coat of colour varnish usually just an opaque pink or light shimmer.I can do this in about half an hour. They can then keep them going for a long time because you cant see regrowth and they will grow lovely and long.
