Ok, so here's my silly question for today...how do you manage to pour from a 5l acetone bottle into a soak off bowl without getting it all over your desk, trousers, floor, etc?

:?: You could perhaps use a funnel to pour into a smaller bottle and then pour into bowl :?:

This is actually the best way to do this.... I use a set of funnels, a different one for each purpose.(to avoid contamination of products).
We regularly top up smaller bottles of acetone, which can be easily used without spillage.

If you don't have a funnel handy, get a pencil (or something similar), hold it directly above your soak off bowl (pointing down), touch the side of the pencil with the lip of the bottle of acetone and tip the bottle forward until the acetone starts to run down the pencil and into your soak off bowl - which it will do without any spillages!
