Me too. I feel so ripped off, if I had known about this website before doing it I wouldn't have to pay 2 lots of training, maybe it's my own fault for being naive

I think we both need to consider it as a learning curve and move on!!

Did you do gel or acrylics?

Gutted! I did gel, acrylic and silk wraps all in 2 days, didn't learn infills we were just told how to do it! It was shocking but until I read this site I thought that was normal so shocking that I can now "do" nails and able to be released to the public!! It's my own pride that I feel I need to do more training.

Don't feel too hard done by... I did a private CIBTAC course in my local beauty college and it was for 6 months... we were never shown so much as how to file a nail!!

All the teachers would say was "go through the motions girls".. LOL

We asked one day if they could show us how to do a french manicure and she wouldn't show us... we were never shown how to rebalance a nail either!!

I had to learn everything the hard way and it really knocked my confidence, so I went on to train with Bio Sculpture and then did a CND conversion class.

I know a lot of people on here go on about this site being CND biased blah blah... but there is a good reason why so many geeks on here use CND and recommend their training... I think I learned more from one of their classes then all the months I spent in that college and I really wish I knew about this site back then... I could have just bought some really good nail books and read them and saved myself thousands!!

Whoops going off topic a bit there sorry... I'm using velocity tips from CND now or performance.. depends on the client... very very little blending on velocity and none on performance.

It's terrible that after the training you can charge for nails, luckily I only spent couple of hundred which isn't bad compared to the amount you must have spent An gel.
I didn't know what a rebalance was until I googled it!
