Ive been looking at acrylic paints to add art work to nail enhancements I have been told I can use normal acrylic paints from the art shop:confused: Now I found a brand ''Monte Marte'' they are Non Toxic, quality pigments, dries to a matt finish, a combination of warm and cool colours, excellent coverage, create a wide range of textures and effects, clean up with water. And come in tiny 22ml tubes aswell. Can I use this on acrylic nails and then cover with a UV Top coat? Does it really matter as long as they are non toxic. HELP!!!!

Hi hon, I used to buy all different brands, but surprisingly enough the one i like most was found in Tesco:D They are nice, dont go lumpy & glide on no problem, also look lovely after the topcoat is applied! P.s I have also predesigned tips with them & used Acrylic on top! Magic, hth xxx

Hi, I've just put a pic up today of nails i did last nite with the paints, (art is not so good but you can tell how nice the paint comes out) The blue one is painted on with tesco paints toooo). I have loads of the nail art pens but always go back to Nubar, Pre designing i usually just take the shine off the tip & paint on it then leave to dry & the L&P usually goes on no problem, happy painting hon xxx
