Adore platinum and lavender

wondering if any one has mixed adore platinum with the lavender before or if you think it will work? i had quite heavily hilighted hair which i had toned with matrix 8v , then a few days later i put adore platinum all over which went a deep grey with purple pieces through on the very light parts, then went swimming a few days later on holiday and when i washed it it faded quite a bit and the purple bits went quite bluey, now have washed it again i think i can see green tinges to it which i dont really like (i also went swimming again all intention of not getting my hair wet but kids will be kids lol) brought both platinum and lavender, thinking if i mixed them it may give it a longer lasting purple tone to it ?!
