Hello Ladies

I have trained to do L&P with Essential Nails but dont feel very confident to do nails on clients yet, I need to Iron out a few problems before i am confident with this.

I would like to do the CND conversion course in September, could anyone tell me if the courses are good and if I do the course would I then be able to go out and do nails mobile and feel confident in what I do. I have simple probs with ppls nails not staying on longer than a week say or lifting at the cuticle area first etc...Oh and I want to be able to do a better smile line with Acrylic??

Any help appreciated, Thanks

the conversion course is to teach you how to use the cnd products rather than to actually teach you techniques.
you would need the skillbuilding courses for that i think.

however, i dont believe cnd class essential nails as a reconised qualification so you probably wouldnt be accepted for the conversion anyway. i think they would expect you to start again with a foundation course.

Hiya

I do know how to do nails and have already done them for the last year but I just want some further advice before I go loose on clients. I have already contacted cnd and they are happy for me to do the conversion course so thats not a problem, I just wandered what people thought of the course.

Thanks

in that case then, they must have changed the rules.

i found the conversion good. they show you the recomended way to do the products and theres an in depth talk on product chemistry and the way it affects the nails and outcome of your work etc.

if you can do a conversion , you would then be able to go on to do skill building classes or one to one education to work on any problems you may have.

Ok thanks for the advice I think it will be good for me and il have a lot more confidence after ive done it.

I did have to send them proof of my certificates etc to show them though.

Thankyou
