Hi all.

I currently have a couple of treatment rooms I am able to rent out at the beginning of the week as most of my staff work the end of the week and lates when we are busiest. I have a few people interested in renting them. What would be a good daily/hourly rate to charge? The owner used to charge £15 an hour to a reflexologist a few years ago. It would be good to make use the rooms to full capacity.
We are in Surrey if that helps.

Many Thanks
:D

Usually rooms are rented out on a day basis or week...not hour.I dont think you will find many therapists willing or able to pay £15 an hour based on an 8 hr day which would equate to £120 a day.

It would depend on what type of treatment the person renting the room is offering, for example if she were a botox nurse you may be able to charge more.

I pay £85 a week but have paid £100 before.It would depend on the area ect.HTH a little.x

Hi

Thanks

Theres an acupunture therapist and another lady wants to do threading.

I will give them a contract stating that either party has to give 4 weeks notice if it doesn't work out and take payment via direct debit.

I would suggestions for an hourly rate as they might want to do the odd evening. If they do a daily rate then i'd probably do it a bit cheaper.

Hi,

If you charge rent on a hourly basis you may get paid for 20 hours one week but then nothing the next!

Decide an amount you want to charge a day. If the therapist want two days a week then write a contract to charge 2 days rent, 52 weeks a year.

I think you might struggle renting the rooms out at the beginning of the week as most therapists are busy thursday, friday and saturday and probably aren't willing to pay when they aren't busy

Thanks Jes.

That's helpful advice I will definately do that.
