Hi all,

I did a short course last year in March on acrylic nail extensions and i could not get the hang of it and i kept getting lifting quickly, I have decided to try again i am going to get some insurance and advertise for Models as i need as much practice as i can get do you think its worth seeing if i can get a space in a salon as i live with my parents so have to do nail appointments in my room and i feel very unprofessional when i do this hence the reason my nails might not be coming out very well.

Any advice would be grateful :)

What i would suggest for you Hun is to do like a builder class to brush up on skills etc. Who were you trained with? I would recommend doing a conversion course with CND and then perhaps a skill building class with them. Just to get you back up to scratch and refresh your mind a little.

But if you do not wish to convert to CND i would suggest to first get insurance and advertise for models before going into renting a room in a salon.

I agree do a conversion and then a skill builder. I wouldn't go opening up to the public just yet if you don't feel 100% confident in what you do.

You don't want to ruin your reputation before you've even begun.

By all means get the insurance but just do loads of practice (maybe at reduced rates) until you've got it.
