just wondered how you are getting on with it?
are your brides opting for this as aposed to traditional foundation application method?
are the attendants having airbase also?
dp you retail airbase products?
can i ask how much extra you are charging for airbase?
i have seen my bookings for airbase gradually increase, but many of my brides are still opting for brush application - would like to take more bookings as the training and system cost me a fair bit, thinking of reducing the price a little

I got a refund on my kit after the training as I didn't like the finish as I thought it made the skin look dry and powdery, more like stage make-up. Are you happy with the texture? It's a shame as I loved the application.

hi thanks for your reply
im happy with the finish and so are my clients - im just not taking as many bookings for airbase as id hoped

Are you getting repeat bookings for airbase then?

I wouldn't reduce the price if you find people like it, I would just promote it more. People would rather have airbrushed make up if it truly is better than with a brush if they knew it existed.

If people are happy with it who have it you just need to promote it better. I would not drop the price if it is costing you more than normal application.

Why not offer it to clients who have booked make up anyway as a one off bonus to have the airbase as a free upgrade as they will then hopefully have it next time.

Thats a shame, the latest gun is nice. Dryness look can be caused because of the distance of the gun in application.

Its very good but can take so much practice to get it right, I can understand people dont have time because of other things.

I have been using Airbase since Sept last year for my brides, I charge £15 extra. At their trial I apply airbase to half their face then normal brush applied foundation to the other half so that they can choose and so far every bride has prefered the airbase. It is just more natural looking and feels so light on the skin. I haven't noticed any dryness at all. I love doing it and love the effect and the brides love the fact that they have been airbrushed. I do not retail any of the products though. I hope this is helpful.

I got the hang of it and was told the make up I did on the day was done well so not sure if there was a problem with my application why I wouldn't have been pointed in the right direction but even the trainers application made the skin look dry, she did say other people had commented on the way it could make skins look a bit dry because of the silicone unless they were in perfect condition but if you had perfect skin you surely wouldn't need make up! Also in order to cover blemishes and uneven skin tone a heavier application was suggested which looked even worse to me. I found it looked good indoors but not in the sun.

I guess people like different things it just wasn't for me.

Beauty and beyond your gallery on your make up page is very good. :) and a half and half application is a good idea to promote it.
