Iv booked a lady in for LvL lashes next week, I was going to apply a plaster to her to patch test, However she is allergic, we got around it.

However does this mean she will be allergic to the eye pads used to stick her bottom lashes down?

Help....

No not necessarily, I'm allergic to the Elastoplast in plasters but fine with the undereye patches as they're completely different but you could patch test her by cutting a small edge off the patch and patch testing with that as that's what you'll be using anyway to make sure.

Anyone else? Xxx

If she is allergic to the latex in the glue on the plaster & your glue has latex in then I would say yes she will be allergic

It's not latex she's allergic too it's the sticky residue that's on them xx

If clients are allergic to the "sticky" products, you can use clingfilm quite successfully to hold down lower lashes.

It wouldn't be my first choice but it does work x

Oh, I shall practise on myself first or I could end up wrapping her up like a chicken xx

I use that micropore tape ... (can't think of correct name if I'm wrong) lol

Just a thought to try and help
