hi

as the standards & expectations of to-be brides rise, i wondered if a makeup airbrushing course was worthwhile doing. has anyone out there done one? if so where? how many days was it? how much was it? what did it cover? was training helpful/practical in the long-term?

just like to ask if anyone has been trained by GREASEPAINT (http://www.greasepaint.co.uk/index.php?actionid=!@N9bYY3An60Q&pageid=54&viewtype=normal) in Ealing, London. Their website suggests they have a long-standing position in the industry. I thought it might be a fab way to entirely disguise all skin imerpections. i am considering doing the course: 5 days £1300-i know it costs a bomb, which is why i thought better get an opinion first! (it includes the 'rolls royce' of airbrush kits, compressor, cleaning materials & paints/solutions).

wud love to hear from anyone whoc has done an airbrush course that was fabulous or even one that was really bad & why.

thanks
love & hugs 2 all

I use dinair airbrush make-up but havent done the training - I did a 1 to 1 with a rep from ellisons but training is available through them. It is an overall cheaper package than what you seem to have been quoted and wouldnt say that dinair is better but I am really happy with it.

It has an amazing finish to it - it looks like the client just has amazing perfect skin and that they are not wearing make-up at all. The best results have been on clients with seriously dry flakey skin, which it covers perfectly. I dont use the eye colours as your limited and I personally prefer traditional eye make-up but do use the airbrush for foundation and cheek colour and finish with a spray of oil.

For its lasting effects - basically if you put it on in the morning it will look just as good late in the night. I have went to bed with it on after a drunken night out - and I looked great in the morning - till I took it off and the real hungover me was revealed!!!

There are some great stencils to do some kooky looks have a look on the dinair website for some inspiration
