Anyone in The Netherlands?

Hi there, I'm wondering if anyone can help me out....My son is going to be playing in the Voorthuizen Military Tattoo at the beginning of May.....I'm so very proud and really want to go and watch him. the only problem is I haven't a clue how to get there. I will probably get there via the ferry to Rotterdam or Amsterdam, not sure which will be better in terms of getting from there to the event.
I wondered if there are any fellow Geeks in the Netherlands who can give me some pointers on where I can find out about public transport links and reasonably priced accommodation.

Thank you, I am very proud, he's only 13 so it's such a fantastic opportunity, hopefully this will be the 1st of many! x
