Hi

Need your help again. :D

I'm getting confused on where my apex should be. I was taught that in zone 1 your brush tip needs to be up at an angle of 45 degrees, zone 2 flat and in zone 3 tip done at an angle of 45 degrees. This places the emphasis of the apex on the smile line, but when I have had nails done it has always been short of in the middle of the total length of the enhancement?

God, I'm not very good at explaining myself!

Hope you guys can help, again :D

Your brush angles sound right. The Apex is an area half way between your eponychium line and your extension edge. THis are is generally level with Zone 3 and Zone 1 building up to it.

Most mistakenly place it at the smile line which results in a thick and top heavy enhancement.

Hope this helps
