Are Weaves bad for your hair?

Hey Geeks

I really want to get a weave done but I am just worried that it will damage my hair, from your experiences as long as they are fitted by a proffesional can they be bad for you?

I have read loads of posts online and there are some people saying they are bad, but some saying they are good for your hair?!!

Hi , I don't know much about weaves but just thought I would stick my oar in I think its like anything it all depends on who fits it but I also from experience of friends having this done know that alot of stylists fit them way too tight and I think this is where you run into problems with traction alopecia ect
