I am looking into bamboo massage training. I have done a search on Google and it appears to me that only Warm Bamboo Massage One-Day Practitioner Diploma Course Esse / http://www.naturaltherapystudio.co.uk/ are offering a course. Does anyone else know of any others?!

I really don't think Ellisons are doing the training they are selling the bamboo. Ellison's put me thru to Gerards when I rang last week,,,,, I'am going to Ellison's later and I'll ask about it.

It just says 7 pieces. It doesnt state which ones x

You'll properly find that different companies have different kits,,,,, if you do the training with this company your on about,,, they properly have a different routine so buying there kit and doing there training is to Ellison's and Ellison's is cheaper for both course and kit but at least you know there certificates and courses you can get insurance.

I've had a good look at Massage Diploma Courses, Holistic Therapy, Beauty & Reiki - Natural Therapy Studio School - Home and I emailed Ellisons to order a prospectus but I got a reply saying that they are updating it and I was referred to their website, which I can't find any information on!

You said in a previous post that "Ellison's is cheaper for both course and kit"! I was messaging in reply to that message! I guess you meant Garards! I was just making comparisons in regards to the cost of training, the cost of kits, and what they include! http://www.naturaltherapystudio.co.uk/ is the only website with the information I would like! I was only hoping someone else would know more!

I've done the Warm Bamboo course with Natural Therapy Studio and really enjoyed it. I had to travel to Onger Essex and training was with a lady called Dawn who was really helpful. If it's on a one-2-one training you will need a model. I also purchased the kit from her and found it to be much better than the one I already had(bought from an Australian website for around the same price) The Australian kit seems a bit tacky against the one bought from Dawn. Its a great massage to give and receive. It's also credited to the Guild and gives 13 CPD points.

Forgot to say there is lady in Leicester who will do a one-2-one training in Warm Bamboo massage. The training and kit are around the same price as natural therapy studio. www.angelsourcedholistics.com
Also just to mention that if you do your training with Dawn you have to sign a form to say that you won't teach bamboo massage for a year.

I emailed Ellisons to order a prospectus but I got a reply saying that they are updating it and I was referred to their website, which I can't find any information on!

I got the same reply and wasn't very impressed with the website. I can't find the bamboo set anywhere and I only receive a catalogue every now and again. Don't know whether it's worth emailing to request a catalogue - I'll probably get the same reply again!

They have them in Essex, Cheshire, Norfolk ,Yorkshire, Malta ,West midlands, Edinburgh and Belfast. We opted to have a mobile class. They came to us to teach the Warm bamboo massage course. The Deluxe bamboo kits are the best from America. We compared a cheaper one for Australia which another student had got, which looked like it would only last only 5 mins. The Natural Therapy studio will order you a Deluxe bamboo kit, the manual emailed before the course. I got my insurance from Towergate. The courses is registered and accredited by the CMA - (Complementary Medical Association), PBD (Professional Beauty Direct) & The Guild of Holistic Therapists which gives you 21 cpd points.AND FREE DVD NOW WITH THE COURSE
