And again!

Full Head - 150 1g AAA strands from SJK
Her hair was a lot lighter at the bottom, so I matched it to that, and it almost looks like a slight dip dye!

Am I the only one who wouldn't extend length with a half head, only a full head?

I've never used SJK hair but I'm definitely considering it after seeing some of the pics on this thread!

If the client has thinner hair than average then I see nothing wrong with a half head for length... if a client came to me with average to thick hair then I wouldn't see the point in a half head for length as its only going to look terrible!

No I will only give them 2 inches at the most with a half :-D

Hello all,
Just wondering if there are any other hair extensionists that specialise in non-surgical hair replacement? I've just started out, but love the transformation (both physical and mental) that clients are offered with this type of system.
I can't work out to upload more than one photo on the thumbnails? So I'll post before and after photos separately....

Hw does it work, Archie?

Am I the only one who wouldn't extend length with a half head, only a full head?

I wouldn't either, I never do a 1/2 head as I don't Luke the way they look but I do offer 3/4s

I've done a half head once, we'll less than a half head as I only did 60 bonds, worked well with the clients hair to thicken it up.

Loving the colour ! What number is it? I love the hair from this company x

nope i personally don't like how it looks, I'd do 3/4s for someone with finer hair, maybe 120-150 strands. 1/2 head i only allow 2" max extra length but I do a lot of 1/2 heads to add thickness only xx

I've been deliberating over this, I looked into AmberRoc, seems like a brilliant idea. Who did you train with and are you getting much work?

Nope you're not the only one, but some clients hair is so fine they don't need a full head x

What do you think? Before styling!

I did my training with studio 58, just a basic extension and sew in weft course, then developed it from there! I'm fully insured because its essentially just a weft and micro rings.

Hw does it work, Archie?

Basically just a sew in weft, fitted with micro rings. Rather than the full net underlay, it's just a top piece. So it looks less 'heavy' than the full systems. It's also lighter to wear (so my clients tell me. One of them came to me after wearing a 'full system' from a very well known company). Not suitable for all types of hair loss, but perfect for female pattern baldness and thinning hair.

And are you not concerned you are compromising the health of the remaining hair?

And are you not concerned you are compromising the health of the remaining hair?

No! The technique I use is a basic technique that has been used in this area for some time now, I've simply removed the 'mesh' section, which doesn't support/secure existing hair, it just acts as a 'bridge' to attach wefts too.

I offer 3/4 head to 120g, still depends on thickness how much length they are aloud :-D
