Bio Oil and nails

Hiya

I have a client who is a teacher, and has just had her nails done last week, however she came today for a repair, she had bashed it (i was told) anyway when I saw her nails I was gobsmacked, everyone except 3 had lifted badly, 1 of them was hanging by the free edge. I always prep the nails (sometimes overly) so I know its not down to that, she doesnt use detergants or the like but she did say however that she has just started to use Bio Oil, and thought maybe this has something to do with it......

any suggestions guys. I promised this client I would deffo look into it for her, i felt awful at the time as I had no answers for her.

I wouldn't have thought it was the Bio oil hun...I use it and so do alot of my clients and I haven't experienced any lifting with it.

she not on any meds flower - I only thought it may be this as she said its the only thing that has changed,..............Im stumped

forgot to add, this isnt creative products, its OPI - maybe someone out there that also uses OPI could shed some light

I would also say no to it being Bio Oil, also becasue I use it daily and so do a lot of my clients and none of us have problems with lifting!
What is she using Bio Oil for? Is it for something that she could be using something else with aswell??

she didnt say flower - all the other clients nails are good, its just this one

I work with OPI and I've never heard of it being the cause of... what you described. will look into it too asap

well, it's a product no one knows here so far... but from what I could get, as long as it not an acid, it should have no influence...

but probably if she puts some not long before coming to you, then it may... as it is fat and fat causes lifting. but if so, (I once used my High Intensity cream and then tried to do my nails so I know what I'm talking about lol) you should notice it's lifting even before she leaves your place.
