Does anyone have any successful tips for extracting blackheads from ears ?

Discovered some MASSIVE ones in my boyfriends ear this morning, they are seriously big and I just can't seem to get them out :irked:

I thought you meant a client and i thought stuff that they can't see them leave them :) They are deep little buggers arent they, that seem to close up when you squeeze so the pressure has to be all around. You just kind of have to get under them and when its someone you know just tell them to shut up when it hurts maybe blackhead removers work because they give pressure all around.I must say i dont remove clients ear blackheads unless i love them.
But speaking from experience they are buggers to get out but so satisfying when you do
Try dragging a gold ring across them not so good on a client.. a bit unprofessional but on your boyfriend it may work

If you dont have a black head remover, but do have a hair kirby grip, try the end of that! I used one once to get at one for my friend! (how sick are we, lol) Gentle pressure, and, hopefully, POP! (just be very careful not to slip, and i wouldnt try if it is near the ear hole, just in case)

How about a little bit of desincrustation before you try to extract?

Well its still not budging so am going to have to wait until Wednesday when I go into salon to bring some products home that will *hopefully* get the little sucker out !!

May go swimming today so I will make him sit in steam and sauna room for a while, hopefully that will loosen it up

Thanks for your suggestions.

If you are anything like me Bombini, you won't rest until the lil ol' critter is gone! Have you tried steaming the ear? If it works for the face, I can't see how it could be any worse for the ear. Not on a client of course !

Or try one of those blackhead remover strips from Boots which have tea tree in them which you get for the nose and chin. Cut a small piece to fit the section in the external ear and use it the same way. Even if the blackhead does not come out with the strip, it may definitely open the pores so that the critter just pops out!

Okay! I'm off to be professional now .

if its on my fella i use two small spatulas and squeeze it out that way
