Hi Geeks,
I've done a strand test on a clients hair she is a base 5. She has a slight colour build up on the ends and wants some blonde/caramel highlights put through.
I've brought the hair up with bleach and put a toner through(dia col 9.13) it's still a bit brassy any suggestions please??

For caramel tones I prefer level 8 when toning as it's more warmer, brassiness can happen when it's maybe been lifted too light for desired shad, I like the 8/73 wella xx

I think 9.13 is a bit light for a caramel colour try a shade deeper, if it's still a bit brassy try using 8 dialights which will flatten of the brassiness a bit so it will come out more like an 8.3

I used 3/4 clear and 1/4 8.34 for a Salted caramel. Was lush and not at all copper
