Blonde hair & tanning

Ok so I do spray tanning myself, by I also have spray tans done.

I have blonde hair (slightly lightened) and although I and my clients use a cap, my hair around my hairline always becomes stained with tan, it doesn't wash out either.

Any tips to stop this? I'm trying to avoid barrier cream, but can't think of anything else.

Tbh the only way you will stop it is by using some sort of barrier between hair and tan solution. Not sure what to suggest other than making sure your hat it positioned correctly to cover hairline or using carefully applied barrier cream/vasaline. Maybe try a soft stratchy headband under your hat to see if that helps.
