Blonde to vibrant red help!

Oh goodness, a few days ago I bleached my hair and dyed it a very vibrant red (as you can see) and today after two washings the red is gone from the ends and is still vibrant at the roots. I'm currently trying to go blonde from red and I advise you that unless you are extremely dead set on it don't do it, it's really hard to upkeep and also hard to get rid of.

I did think I would need a change of make up.

As I am fair, I don't 'over tan'

I'm aware of the upkeep. How difficult would it be to return to my high lift tint? I really don't want to go back to bleach!
