Blooming Gel, what is this?

Can anyone tell me what is blooming gel and why is it different to a normal gel top coat.Is it as thick as cnd smooth it

It’s a gel that allows a special effect call blooming. Best way I can describe it is if you imagine having a wet piece of paper, then applied a drop of ink to that paper, the ink would “bloom” - spread out around where it had been dropped. Same happens with blooming gel. If you paint something onto the gel the edges of what you paint blooms.

You can produce some gorgeous effects with blooming gel, like 3D roses, marbling etc. It isn't a top coat though, so you'll need to apply top coat afterwards.
