Hi All,

I am a qualified hairdresser,

Next week, I have a client who has been using a 'box colour' CRINGE which I would say from looking at her mid lengths and ends is Wella KP equivalent of a 4/43

She has a wirey fringe and frontal area which is 100% grey and box colours arent cutting it.

I am planning on a root touch up, then emulsification through the ends.

My plan is;

2 inch 44/0
4 inch 6/45
20 VOL

I can either pre pigment, or add a touch of 9% to give the colour more oomph.

Which would you do on your client?

So i'd make 7.5% Welloxen

Thanks Honeys!

Jake

Her base is 50% grey all over, and 50% 5/0 through the rest of her hair, hence the 4 and 6 levels, cas box colours lie like a cheap watch!!

So you're planning to mix 44/0 and 6/45?

Yes, or even 77/44 altering the ratios,

her hair is quite red already and in good condition, stretch and allergy

Definitely not. Double bases aren't to be mixed with other shades.

Ok, i will use 55 red gold for enough grey coverage.

Ok, I have made say 3/0 with 1 part 2/0 and 2 parts 4/0, but as you say they aren't double bases.

I'm sorry but I'm finding it hard to comprehend what you're trying to tell me...
