Brazilian blowout opinions?

I recently got a position assisting a great stylist and I just did my first brazilian blowout with her yesterday. When my cousin asked me if it was illegal I looked it up and it says there's lots of formaldahyde in it and it can cause cancer and leukemia, can anyone fill me in on more infor or your experiences with the product?

There are many brands of keratin relaxers, some do have a high level of formaldehyde in them, if the one you are currently using is one that does look around for another brand. Also Remember that most nail products also have formaldehyde in them, and they are safe. It all depends on the level of formaldehyde.
