I already use CND for my l&p but have for some time now been looking to also offer gel. I already know the Cnd system and prep etc so would like to stick with them so can you answer some questions please?:green:

How quickly/easily is it to buff off or rebalance?
Is the overall service faster to complete than l&p?
(I know this one ought to go to S2) but does anyone know if you still get the kit and lamp on the conversion course?

And is there anything else which will be helpful?

Thanks

Hi

I cant comment on any of your other questions as I'm very new to Brisa myself, although I can tell you that you do get the lamp and kit on the Brisa course. (if you got the CND l&p starter kit you will be really impressed with the Brisa kit, no teeny tiny sizes of anything, its all proper sized stuff!)

Cant comment on times but as above, fantastic Brisa kit and lovely to work with.....

Buffs off really nicely...

Just about to do my first gel client so will have a better idea after that....

The service is not faster to complete. At first it will take you more time. Be realistic. Brisa is beautiful and strong and I almost never have to buff anything off never mind a full set. Buff off is better in my opinion because it is stronger. Have fun.

Hi I currently use lcn and bio sculpture gels, I have been looking into brisa as a new product to use. Do you think I could use this without going on a conversion course?

Yes, you can BUT Brisa does handle a little differently and I'm sure you would benefit from a conversion day in order to get the best out of the new product rather than to learn by trial and error. Cllients don't like trial and error (paticularly the error part) so I would recommend a conversion class the price of which includes the Brisa Pro Kit and the lamp.

Thank you for your kind reply, I will look into the training days. Would you be able to point me in the right direction as to who to contact?

Re-jigging an old thread rather than start a new one....................:)

I am still considering the Brisa conversion but would like to know about a particular client.
She is a nurse and out of all my clients is now the only one who has lifting issues, and we both put it down to the quantity of gels and cleaning substance that she has to use during her working day. So my question is, would the fact the Brisa is a buff off gel mean that it would be more suited for this client and less likely to lift?

Hun I have 2 nurses, 1 nursery nurse and a good few hairdressers all of which use Brisa Gel and I have to say they very rarely have an issue with lifting.
I just keep their enhancements very short and they seem to have no problems:hug:

So would you say that they are better off with the gel than L&P?

Its a clients personal preference but as Brisa Gel is non porous it is good if you are working in water alot.
Of course I might be wrong with this statement but during my training this is what I was told:green:

The hairdressers all defiantly prefer the Gel to L&P hths:hug:
