Brisa Lite base instead of Shellac

I've made a big mistake, I've just done one if my regular clients and forgot to use the smoothing gel and went straight from brisa base to shellac colour, I'm so worried now that its not going to last as wrong base was used.
I can't believe I made such a mistake. I new I should of stayed in bed.
