Brown dry skin patch on skin!

Wondered if you could help me, for the last month the only 1 finger (middle finger) on the right side of the knuckle down I have developed a patch of very VERY dry and brown skin. No idea where its come from or how it appeared and no amount of moisterizing is helping, its that dry it feels like leather! Any ideas? Its only on this 1 small patch.

Maybe you should let the doc see it as there is a change of colour and it is not improving? xx

It may need a steroid cream to clear it up, so I'd get it checked out with your GP.
