Hi I dont know weather this thread should be here or in another forum but here goes....
I'm in a real pickle I've been a nail tec for 6 years (started mobile then rented a chair in a salon now back freelance with a studio in my garden) now alll the salons in my area use cal gel and every new client that phones me wont have OPI l&p nails or even the OPI micribond I do as they want the polish to be "permnant" and natural:eek: so i explane all about the diffrent things i can do with colour and polish but no good, they STILL want cal gel:eek::eek: now here's my problem I've saved up some money to do a new course this year and i was going to add to my treatment list by doing a massage course as some of my clients would love me to do this too as well as there friends and family, OR do i do a cal gel coures cos "if you carnt beat them join them".
Realy dont know wot to do:cry: wot do you all think???
Thanks

I think you should do whichever course will bring you the best financial return in the shortest amount of time, then, when you have that financial return you can reinvest the money into your business and do the other course.

hth's a bit

If you'e already a nail tech, you would only need to spend much on the Calgel training, but it would cost more to set up with product then massage (assuming you have a massage table already).

I'd go for the Calgel as you have having people call for it, and it offers more repeat business then massage, which people see more as an occational thing.

Are you turning away business for massages as well? If you are then decide which is the greatest revenue that is being lost. If not then there is no question to answer, it HAS to be Calgel as you are turning away business and losing money!
