Hi can anyone help me. I have a new client coming to have her nails done (maintenance) on Wednesday. At the moment she has Cal Gel on - which I don't use. She is willing to change to the gel I use which is either Christrio or LCN. Can anyone advise how I remove the Cal Gel. Can I file it off as I do with other gels or does it have to be soaked off. I know Cal Gel have their own soak off but I don't want to spend money on their products as I don't use their gel. Any advise would be appriciated.

You can use ordinary acetone and use the foil method.File over the top of the gel first with a hard grit.
They will take from about 15 mins depending on whats on there and how many layers.
When ready it will more or less peel in one go like bits of thin rubber you can give it a bit of help with an orange stick but do not lever off, if its not ready its a devil to get off so be patient.
A bit of warmth can help also, sometimes i put a warmed wheatbag over the hands.

Thanks Gill I will give it a go when she comes on Wednesday. :)
