can i have 6/1 over 5/1?

Hi guys I have been getting wella colour touch semi 5/0 for about a year, had 5/1 in feb but wanted to go a little lighter trying to get to my natural colour the 5/1 comes out almost black ! just worried if I have the 6/1 my root will be different from the rest. I notice a difference in root and rest about 2 weeks after having colour done, not noticeable but I can see it lol so kinda worried it will look too different with 6/1!
Hairdresser was just going to do the roots but I like to have ends done as I like to get rid of any warmth
posting here as I think I'm nipping my hairdressers head about it lol xx

You'll only know if you try, but your hairdresser is right, if you take it all the way thru its just creating more build up which will not help your hair to lighten. Why not do half and half this time?
