can i use builder gel over a french polish?

Just wondering if i could use a builder clear gel over a french polish on natural nails to stop the chipping. Or would the finish clear be better thankyou all in advance x

I have always found that using any gel over normal polish is more trouble than its worth! The polish has to be completely dry before you put gel over it, if not it will jus wrinkle and peel away from the nail.
