Hi geeks :)

I am looking for a reasonably price hvlp tanning machine that i can use at home on myself and partner.

Would this machine be ok?

Wagner Australia [W 850 E]

I can get hold of one for a very reasonable price, but am wondering if maybe it would be too powerful for spray tan applications?

Any advice is appreciated :)

I use one like this and it was designed for spray painting, you can control the power to a correct setting how a little comes out or alot, just play around with it till you get it right, iv had mine 3 years and its A1 no point in spending hundreds xxx

Thanks for that Tor :)

I always figured if i stopped spray tanning i could use it to paint things lol. Glad to hear yours has worked well.

Hi, I would be interested in this machine too. Can I ask how much? Thanks

I would say to anyone reading this thread,do what you like on yourselves or for home use, but if you are thinking of using this in a professional capacity think again.
People will be quite aware that they are probably being sprayed with something that is designed for spraying fencing and it will not be to your advantage never think you can fool your clients.. would you be?.
To be honest this equipment shouldnt even be being mentioned on a professional forum ,at the end of the day we are all in this business together and buying your professional products from the local diy store isnt quite the respectable thing to do unless of course you are in that business.
Another thing to consider if thinking of using it to spray clients and take money ..would you be insured.

This is a very good point and as far as i know, as it is not originally designed for spray tanning you would not be insured when using this or any other fence spraying kit,
i agree with everything else you have said too.

Therapists that want to look professional and gain respect from their clients need to use professional equipment,
they can be found at reasonable prices with warranties, hth
