hi all you experts, just looking thru the geek gallery so inspiring looking at some of the nails on there!!!
can anyone explain the full procedure for the canes and where you can purchase them from I luv um!
xx

they are sliced very thinly with a sharp blade and then added in to the nails in the base layer and the nail structure built on top of them.

i have some very good quality ones from my tiny world.

thats right. they have some tutorials on the site too.

You can also purchase them pre-sliced if you have never sliced a cane before makes it a whole lot easier, also gives you an idea of how thin the slices should be. There is also a how to page on my website to help with using fimo nail art. I also did a video today on slicing my canes, but MY son has taken my cord to download it onto the computer:cry::cry:.

We sell them for 3 x cheaper :)

Will upload Halloween themed design tutorial using sweets canes!

Also, you'll be better off by buying whole canes and slicing them by yourself to get perfectly thin slices.

I've purchased all of Toni's canes and they're great, soo thin and detailed.

I prefer the pre sliced option over the whole canes myself I don't think I'd get them as thin as Toni's

we have a huge range to, but if you are to buy pre-sliced if buying from the maker they are likely to be super thin and just perfect but buying pre-packed sliced are always to thick

but buying pre-packed sliced are always to thick

Not at all - I get the pre sliced canes from Toni - I'm not interested in slicing them myself, I just want to apply them :)
These canes are sliuced very thin 20 slices to a bag .. lots of detail & 'beautiful colours... Well worth a try...

but as i said above if you are buying from the maker they are likely to be super thin and perfect ,

by pre-packed i mean cut by machine and not by hand
