A friend of mine wants to train in beauty therapy along side her normal job, she will only be able to do short courses she asked me about capitals hair and beauty wholesalers training but I dont know anything about them.

If anyone has done them
1) How did you rate the course. For some one who has never done any beauty work do you think they are ideal courses or not indepth enough.
2) Did you manage to get insurance with the qualification.

If not has anyone else done any short courses (waxing, manicure, pedicure, facials) in the Swanley,Orpington, Bromley area ?
Thankyou in advance:hug:

a friend did a pedicure course with capital and wasnt that impressed, said it was quite rushed and the certificate looked like something she could have done herself
i've done a lot of short courses, and find they are a good way of starting your career faster, but take a lot of practice afterwards.
you usually have to get your own insurance aswell
try beautyguild.co.uk
hope this helped :)

She would be better off doing a part time course in college. There is way to much info (if you want to be a good, confident therapist) to learn in a short amount of time.
I think that applies to any short course not just in capital.
