Hello, im newly qualified in l&p with creative and just wondered what sort of price is reasonable to charge at the moment? as obviously my nails arent salon standard yet! x

Hi hun, I don't know where your located so not sure of the charges in your area, but when I first started out I charged Model prices of £15.
I got my practice in and also my products where paid for and the client knows they are being models, in case you have any minor hiccups...hth...x

hi i would charge £15.00 too as there is alot of competition in the area x

if you're qualified don't be afraid to charge what your competition charges, dont cheapen your services just because you're new, because yOu'll fall into a rut and your clients will come to expect it and when you fo gain experience it will be hard to raise your prices to where they should be. if you're worried about getting clients because you're new, offer an introductory special and referral program :)

I was always told never to go lower than £15.00 so I started at £20.00. It really is hard to increase your prices if they are too low. What do you think of your work at the moment and are you confident in your abilities? If so, research the salons & mobile techs in your area and use that as your guide to setting your prices.

i am quite new and am charging £18. However, I have said that it is a special introductory price only on all my ads so that I can charge more after January. Its very competative in my area and about £25 is the average, so after christmas am going to go nearer that figure.
