Hi geeks I have come across a post in Facebook where some woman was asking why trials and bridesmaids are so much cheaper than brides in the day. I replied saying that we don't make anything on trials but need to charge otherwise were working for free and it's expensive blah blah.
Some other makeup artist comments saying she charges £15 for trial and £20 on the day, same for bridesmaids! So I said I'd be interested to know what products she uses as I pay more than this for primer alone not to mention nearly twice that much for liquid foundation ect and she said she uses a product called s colour which is only available for professionals and a fraction of the price of others but just as good!
Has anyone heard of this and is it really just as good??? I really try to stay out if conflict on Facebook so I just wow that's good.
Also be interested to know what people charge, I know it's different for different areas but we still have the same costs right? Except for some city travel charges. I cover Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire and may do Leicester and sheffield if the price is right!
