Hi. Im thinking of offering Christmas nail art leading up to Christmas, I want to offer something different than just some sticker type nail art or art brushed nails.

Does anyone have any ideas for some good Christmas nail art thats a bit different and could be done with coloured acrylic or gel. Preferebly gel cause iv just bought a lot of the new nsi coloured gel and could do with using that?x

i had an email today from oak tree dolls house...they are now selling christmas canes to be sliced and encased. They look ok.....not sure though....but its an idea :)

I have a few clients that love to wear red/white ore red/green glitter chevrons aroudn this time of year. I looked through my piccs and don't have one of these ARG! I will see What I have I know my busy time is here and parties are starting so I should have some soon enough.

My mom wants me to do a christmas tree and some snowflakes using gel (she wants it 3d). I'm supposed to do it late this month so I'll show you how it turns out!

The clay canes are a nice, easy, fast, fun way to do nail at. There are a lot of suppliers that you can get them from. My highest recommendation would be to make sure that you are getting them directly from the artist and know what clay that they are using. For best results it should be made from premo, fimo or fimo soft.

Id love to know how to do some christmas themed nails using young nails products..
was thinking red all over the nail, with some green swirls, and some gold glitter randomly applied.
Any ideas?? Pics would be great!

I will get back to u tomorrow. Let me sleep on it....lol....can't think right now.

last year I had candy cane nails (white with red swirls) super simple but clients LOVED them, I can't even count how many I ended up doing, I added some glitter or snowflakes for anyone who wanted extra bling

Ok with young nails.....The red all over like you said, the impression tool swirly filled in with the green glitter and a bit of gold fade on the tips. Simple and easy using what you said.

Thank you all so much you have been a great help. Im going to practice doing some different designs and then il take some pics so I can show you x

Hi Charlotte,

I have found the string of christmas lights to be very popular. I draw a flowing line along all 4 nails and when I get to the thumb, i continue the line and at the end I put a plug with prongs... I then take different colors and place light bulbs along the flowing line. I usually use green as the line color.

Hope this helps. Kim

Feel free to email me and let me know what you think
