hi guys!
I have a telephone interview with Clarins on Wednesday... I am so nervous! Has anyone experienced this interview before / know what type of questions I should expect etc? Does anyone work for Clarins at the moment? Would love to know what you think of working for them. X

Hi, I work for them, leaving this week to start my own beauty business.
They are a good company, very target driven though.. So if you are good at selling then they will snap you up because that's all they care about.
It is impossible to progress within Clarins unless you are a good seller, regardless of how good a therapist you are.
Phone interview won't be difficult, it's just to see if you are eager. Then you get a face to face interview and then a trade test.
Just be enthusiastic and positive and you will do fine, that's all they are after because they train you up themselves.
Also they will ask how you will get new customers and you just say traffic stopping using their red chair and doing hand and arm massages.
Good luck

Hi Beautybumblebee :)

Thanks for the response.

The job that I applied for was skincare specialist so I presume there is no trade test for that? The telephone interview went well, they are going to contact me within 48 hours to arrange a face to face interview.

Would you recomend working with them? I'm a bit unsure.

Thanks for your help! x

In terms of counter specialist, if you wanted a counter job anyway.... then yes go for Clarins. Unless you are a makeup artist, as Clarins is predominantly skincare.
you get a good allocation though , and the product training is very good.
The red and white counter uniform is nice too! Go for it.
