Clear tips

Hi
When I get my nails done I normally have white tips then acrylic overlay, when I want glitter acrylic they remove the tips and use clear tips would it be ok to still have the clear tips next time when I need a rebalance
and get the white acrylic over the top of the glitter if they file most of it away or do I have to get them soaked off again and get white tips to have the white acrylic? Do clear tips look ok when having the white? hope this makes sense?!

Any geeks offer an opinion, as I dont want to keep having nails soaked off all the while! does me in!!! and time consuming too.

it would be fine.
it would have been ok over the white unless you wanted a very sheer looking glitter .
